Artist Mathias Bengtsson is an experienced industrial designer, cabinet maker, and artist who truly shows off all of his skills in one shot with his 3D printed furniture, titled ‘Growth Chair’ and ‘Big Growth Table.’ With a variety of sizes, materials, and labor involved, Bengtsson is showing off his skill both for 3D printing and for biomimicry, as he imitates nature and it’s growth through the fluid, organic design of the furniture which looks distinctly root-like.
