Fossilized: Amalgamma Student Group 3D Prints Concrete
Amalgamma, a student group formed at the Bartlett School of Architecture, has developed a novel method of 3D printing concrete. The technique, which combines traditional extrusion with powder bed printing, results in beautiful, delicate-looking structures that are deceptively strong. The method was developed in a yearlong project the group calls "Fossilized," and they envision its use in future architectural applications.
