Skew by Bounding box

Hi everyone
Hopefully someone can point me int he right direction.
I have an object I want to make fatter at one end

To help you understand image a egg, and take the bottom half of that egg and make it bigger, but the top half has to stay exactly as it is
It is possible to manipulate a file in this manner? Maybe to skew it using only four points in a bounding box??
And if so which program out there is most suitable?

I have used Blender, Tinkercad, Autodesk 123d, Meshmixer, Meshlab and Daz
But I just cant seem to get any of these programs to do what I want to do :(

Anyhelp would be most appreciated

Well.... In OpenScad I would make a 2 dimensional object and extrude it at different rates as I moved through the 3rd axis. And that extrusion (or offset) number can be the result of a function so you can make it do what ever you want.

I already have the object that I want to tweak

It can be done in Sketchup with the FredoScale plugin tools.

I had a play in Sketchup, but it doesn't look like Sketchup can import STL or OBJ files. So I don't think I can get my file in there

While you could easily cut your model in 2, keep the upper part and then redo the lower half, you will soon reach a limit of what you can do with an STL : it will be very difficult to create a seamless integration. What I mean is however hard you try, it will be close to impossible to do a mesh that will have the correct tangence at the seam (see picture below, I kept your eggcellent example).
It would be much better if you worked with a parametric (engineering) CAD software. Because a proper engineering software allows you that kind of modifications.

Sketchup can import STL with the STL plugin.


But your egg is simple enough to get better results by drawing it from scratch.
