Does anyone here own a Replicator Z18 or at least have a good amount of experience with one? I'm strongly considering going in on one with a few buddies of mine, but would love to hear a little feedback first.

Well since it has not been released yet for sale you wont get an answer anywhere to your questions. All the gen 5 makerbots are supposed to use the same extruder. Have you done any research on any if the gen 5 machines? I would suggest you goto the MB google group and do some reading. There are plenty of gen 5 threads there with all sorts of info.
I have a buddy that is ordering one. He hasn't gotten it yet. I'm sure he will be posting here when he does get it though. I love the idea of the huge build volume.
