I see that some printers have a heated build platform that is heated more at the edges than the central area.
For the rest of us with an aluminum platform bleeding heat from the edges, a thermal barrier seems to be a good idea. Probably cannot find an epoxy or glue that withstand the temperature to hold insulation to the edge. The bottom of the platform has the heating pad so one cannot do much in that area.
Has someone done this before?
