I can't see the connector most boards have for the smart screens - is that the underside of the board ?
Perhaps instead of Mike, Mathew, and Terence you should spend your monies on a product from MakerBase, a slightly bigger name in the world of 3d printing. Like the MKS gen L for example. It is a cheap mainboard. And natively works with all MKS touchscreens and also MKS external mosfets for off-board heated bed power.
That is the underside of the board. There are labeled pins but I didn't recognize anything that would work with an off the shelf display.
what's the top look like ?

well the connector top - middle, looks like the right socket for a smart lcd to me.
It's certainly the same type that mine's plugged into.
