Different slicers use different methods to provide support. I ran across the photo below and wondered if anyone knew what slicer does supports like that? It's very minimal and looks very effective.

Slicer is starting to do that with 'Pillar' support. But it doesn't do it anywhere near that well.
the meshmixer support looks real cool and interesting but just from talking to alot of different people no one really seems into it or even said they liked it. some feedback on it rob once you get it goin would be nice.
Does meshmixer just add supports in a .stl format then you have to slice it with your favorite engine?
Sorry I am at work and cannot download it to see how it works.
I tried Meshmixer a few time, there are a lot of other opptions also so it looks like you can slice it also (I have never tried it).
The support is not bad (much better than the actual slicer ones) but I already tried Simplify3d so I´ll not change back (great supports).
