Flashforge Creator Pro - X axis grinding and layer-shift

Hi everybody,

we are MonzaMakers from Italy and this is our first thread on this forum.

we bought a FlashForge Creator Pro on october2014 and we were really satisfied about this printer,
we printed a lot of object with different material and shape without any problem, untill last week...

we printed this model without any problem:

so we proceed to print another copy with the same parameters, but when we check the printer we found this:

after have cleaned the plate, we retry to print another copy and we find this kind of problem with the x-axis:

the x-axis continuously blocks so evey layer is shifted on the right.

we search on a lot of 3d-printing forums and we check the usually causes:
- sobstitution of stepper-motor: we change the x-axis stepper with the left extruder stepper (they are the same) but it doesn't solve our problem
- sobstitution of stepper-driver: we try to invert the x driver with the y driver but the error is always on x axis
- check for obstruction on the guide: we check and lubrificate it but itsn't the problem cause

anyone can suggest us another solution for this problem??

Perhaps your X-Axis belt is loose?

Or the x-axis cable might be kaput..

I'd be looking at the cable to the x-axis stepper given everything else you've done. The video shows the carriage being driven back and forth briefly when the grinding noise occurs and you can plainly see the belt vibrating which points to the stepper rapidly changing direction (this would result in that noise). If you've already ruled out the stepper and the driver the cable is the next logical source of the fault.
