i started a thread yesterday and messed up the title haha i need to know how to convert a JPG into a format that i can open in designspark mechanical, extrude it and print
some of the slicers will turn a jpg into an extruded stl file.
Flashprint does a great job and I would imagine prusaslicer would do it as well.
Simplify3d does it, but flashprint does it better.
I imagine some of the design programs would also do it. I only use opesncad, and while that will import and extrude dxf files - it won't extrude jpgs.
As I say I always use flashprint.
Simplify 3D does it with a simple press down on the key and there it is ! I have tried a lot of slicers and for me this is the best on the market good luck Attachment 16094
