New product high quantity run - what company to use?

I need 250-500 high quality 3D units of my new product to be produced. I'm looking for a process that looks as close to production quality as possible (ideally a glossy black or gray). Does anyone have suggestions on where to turn for this? I want to use 3D printing before I go the injection mold route. The other option is urethane casting.

Where are you situated. can we have some more details of the product size rough shape, 250 -500 is a bad number too big for comfortable 3d print too small for injection moulding but depends on the size and sape.
