MakerGirl Program Has Over 300 Makers Now, 3D Printing

The latest in a stream of efforts to pique girls' interest in 3D printing comes in the form of a Kickstarter-funded mobile 3D printing lab and educational program called MakerGirl. The program was started by four students at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and hit the road in June to bring 3D printing technology to girls in rural areas.
