polymer experiments to try
Commonly pla and abs
Pla is poly lactic acid
It is similar to PLGA
( Poly Lactic glycol acid )
In the chemical structure here is
The
difference
First is is the hydrogen oxide
Then is the (PLA )part
The part ,^1 is the Glyconic acid double bonded as a oxygen (oxide) then ^1 bonded to a hydrogen
So you could write it as
Co (Hydrogenoxidous poly lactic ) dioxide Glyconic hydrogen meth
(Meth = single ^)
You can try this at home with
Glycerine
Vinegar
Lactose
First mix the lactose with vinegar forming
Lactose acetate
+ Glyconic acetate which can be made with glcyerine and vinegar
= the raw base of the material
Then heat up and blend then you need to cast it for about a day or two
Then after that you can slice it into pellets like strips within the dimensional axises
Then you will need a recycle bot but make sure you make it extrude into a coiling landing
From there you can use you got filament
then from there there is a rep rap heater from there
Its just like. Standard tessellation language
(STL) slicing one layer by layer
Each layer is axis x ( L & axis y (width )
Think of it like how mine craft on graphing paper from there on its a matter of coordination and stringent z axis ( height )
Length x width = area(^2)
X height = volume (^3)
Heres an example of a demensional chart
^1 =1/^1( linear)
^2 = 2 /^1 (linear)
^3 = 6/ ^1 ( linear)= 3^2( area)ppm
^4= 25 ^1 ( linear) =5^2 (sq) = 3.125^3 (volume)
