SinterIt SLS 3D Printer for $5,000 Coming Soon!

Yet another affordable SLS 3D printer is about to hit the market. In the beginning of next year you will see the SinterIt Selective Laser Sintering 3D printer launch as a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign. It will be priced at $5,000 and capable of printing using nylon powder.

The expected specifications are as follows:

• Ability to Print with powder in any color at high speeds
• Print bed size: 150mm x 150mm x 200mm (5.9 x 5.9 x 7.6 in)
• Print scan speed: Up to 500 mm/s (19.6 in / s)
• Print bed temperature: Up to 180 Celsius degrees (356 F)
• Controlled over WiFi
• Price of materials: Printing powder will be priced under $100 per 1 kg (2.2 lbs)
