Good idea but I don't think I like the porous surface, I have come very fond of the finish off clean Kapton and blue tape.

"Warning: This print bed is not for you if you use a heated print bed."

Why?
Then, print ABS unsuitable?

He made it from a vinyl placemat. Vinyl can melt at 100c.
