3D Printed Arduino Assisted Wheeled Robot - WatsonBot

Spain-based designer Miguel Angel Lopez has created a fun 3D printable, Arduino-assisted robot -- all for less than $50 in parts costs. This affordable robot creation, the WatsonBot, has a 3D printed chassis along with some purchased parts and electronics. Watson features 3D printed undercarriage, front and rear bumpers, central pillars between the wheels, and the top, all made from PLA -- then run with the help of an Arduino processor, a motor expansion shield, and a recycled RC car battery. While Lopez had most of these parts around his house, he also detailed easy places (like eBay) to find everything for affordable prices -- and has included the STL files and Arduino code on Thingiverse so Watson can be built anywhere.
