PrintrBot has a few. I know a few people that use the PrintrBot 3D printers, and they do a good job, are reliable, and efficient.

Most of there printers are in your price range. Most people I know that use there printers use the PrintrBot simple, some with the extended volume upgrade.

I got the Monoprice FF Creator rebrand on sale for $700 recently. Back up to $1000 now though. Maybe if you're patient, it will be on sale again.
for 650 you could get a decent sized delta kit.
