If I bend a piece of 3mm PLA filament back on itself should it be flexible enough to go back with a fairly tight curve for 180 degrees or would you expect it to snap (like a dry twig) at some stage in the bending process?

If I bend a piece of 3mm PLA filament back on itself should it be flexible enough to go back with a fairly tight curve for 180 degrees or would you expect it to snap (like a dry twig) at some stage in the bending process?
I'm not sure there's a universal answer to this. With my 1.75mm PLA filament, I've got some that's pretty flexible and some that's pretty brittle. I think I've heard people argue moisture content and age of the filament can also make a difference.
