Please help a newb with stringing.

Hello,

I have a Type A machines Series 1. Printing PLA at 185. Glass bed.

I have not messed with the settings that came with KISSlicer.

I get insane amounts of stringing, and I just want to know which parameters will be the most applicable to prevent this.

The settings in KISSlicer are:

Prime: 3
Suck: 3
Wipe: 3
Speed 70 mm/s
Min Jump: 1mm
Trigger 5mm

There are other settings, I am just showing you the destring settings.

Can someone please elaborate a little on what prime, suck, wipe and the other settings do?

My nominal print speed is on Fast setting, 90mm/s. The machine has pretty good precision but the stringing is driving me nuts!
