A 3D Printer made out of LEGOs!

OK, I just saw this, and found it amazing. A 3D Printer made out of Legos. OK, it only prints in hot glue, and is based on the first MakerBot model, but if this can be done, I'm sure more sophisticated 3D Printers could be built out of legos as well.

Lego has been amazing me since I was 7 years old, and that was a LONG time ago. They STILL amaze me ! ! What a great company !

OOPS ! Thought the company made it. No matter, made out of Legos is just as good, they still amaze me !

This is a great little machine. Was featured on Hack-a-Day awhile back.

This goes to show how simple it really is to create a 3D Printer. People think it's a lot harder than it really is. You see companies popping up out of no where raising millions of dollars on kickstarter, but really they aren't making anything groundbreaking.
