3D Printed Walnut Table
Aleksandrina Rizova, a London-based architectural designer and associate lecturer at Oxford Brookes University, fabricated a beautiful table at the intersection of art-meets-function. Using only 3D printing and CNC milling, Rizova fabricated a delicately designed coffee table. The table legs, in a very delicate mesh design, were fabricated using 3D printing provided by 3DPrintUK; the tabletop, made of walnut wood, was milled by 3DCNC. The 3D printed legs were created in 7 delicate pieces, made in a mesh pattern of nylon only millimeters thick, laid out to be structurally able to support the heavy wood table-top.
