Dreamer: LCD stays black/doesnt get recognized by USB (TF card dead?))

Hello yall,

Wanted to ask the crowd, my flashforge dreamer was working great today. Until i tried to load/unload some fiber, and then the font/icons on the LCD started appearing upside down and lettering reversed.
I uninstalled the drivers, reinstalled, tried booting from SD Card, also tried resetting firmware to not avail. After the attempt at the firmware change, the LCD has stayed black, and the printer is no longer even recognized by the USB.

After doing a littlebit of reading online i found that this generally means the TF card has died, requiring replacement from flashforge OR a TF card purchased from ebay/amazon, and loading the corresponding firmware onto that. Anyone have any suggestions/feedback?
