Melting Solid Polyetherimide (PEI) for DLP 3D Printing

I am currently conducting research on using a DLP 3D printer to produce a product with excellent acoustic properties. Based on the journals I have read, Polyetherimide (PEI) has shown promising sound transmission capabilities. However, I have been unable to find a company that sells PEI as a photopolymer resin specifically designed for DLP 3D printers. The resins available in the market, such as PLA, PUA, nylon, and ABS, tend to have poor acoustic properties. So since resin must be in liquid form, is it possible to melt PEI and combining it with a crosslinking agent and photoinitiator before using it in the DLP 3D printer?
