Same Question as usual!

Guys Not new to 3D printing, but never had one! hhehehe

My Option will be aliexpress for two reasons, price and price!


So here are my options so far

• Folger Tech 2020 ( Link) - This will be shipped from US!
• Ultimaker 2 like (link) It is also a DIY, however I liked the reviews and ammount of buyers, it looks to be a nice printer
• Prusa i3 based (link) - This is the cheaper one, but I still believe it is a good shot!

Bottom line, I'm looking for something that I will be able to print my ideias for simple to larger stuff and also sometimes try ultra resolution ( 0.05)

ignore the last link. acrylic versus metal frame - no contest go metal frame every time.

I'd go for the ultimaker clone.
Larger build volume, yeah it probably 3mm filament anda bowden setup - but, if they've copied ultimaker it should work well.
And that's a really nice build volume. Also a full frame not just a gantry.

Forget 300mm/s - probably 100 - 200 maybe. And the higer speeds are always at high resolution - so very thin layers.
But still good.

Just remember that claimed print speeds are just that: 'claimed' :-)

Interesting. Now my only question regarding this printer is:

Will I be able to upgrade for a E3Dv6 for example? (at least original one) ? I noticed that I will need to buy the heated bed separated or choose the bigger size which already has it included for almost 100 dollars more.

you need a heated bed - period.

yes there are plenty of filaments that can be printed on unheated beds - but most of them will work better on a heated bed. Adn the best print surfaces work by filament sticking to the hot bed and not sticking when the bed has cooled. Like the printbite I use.

So for $100 more a heated printbed and larger print volume are a bloody good deal.

This will be the funny part!!! hehehe.
I already find the manual and it is Ikea like, which I believe will be fun and simple. ;)

I Also started designing a Auto bed lvl to the printer and probably will do more improvements later on as soon as I get used to the printer and to 3d printing !
