Mark Two Metal 3D Printer Offers Wide Range of New Features

MarkForged is busy outdoing themselves already with a new release of their metal 3D printer. The Mark Two offers a range of new features from a 40% fiber printing process to better reliability for integrating components like sensors and batteries. Retailing at $5499, this is a desktop printer capable of producing industrial-quality components. It boasts two printheads, one for printing nylon, and one for reinforcing the parts with continuous fiber. A number of improvements are included to help improve the metal 3D printing process, and all Mark Two machines will be accompanied by the new Enterprise bundle, which allows for the 3D printing of fiber materials with a heat deflection temperature of 140°C. Sounds like very minor incremental improvements, which I have no problem with.

Sometimes I wonder if brian even reads the stuff he supposedly writes.
It's clearly not proof read by anyone with any knowlege of 3d printing.

The mark one and mark two ARE NOT METAL PRINTERS.
Fibreglass, kevlar, carbon fibre, nylon - yes - Metal - no.

What I can't figure is why they haven't made the build volume larger, as well as the other stuff.
