Professor Heather Sharpe seems like our kind of intellectual. Intent on teacher her students about the pastimes of the ancient Greeks, Sharpe enlisted the help of fellow instructor Andrew Snyder to create 3D printed replicas of the delicate cups (kylixes) used in a drinking game called kottabos. Students were then able to use the cups to play the game themselves, and Sharpe says it proved more difficult than anyone imagined.
