CES this year has some pretty great things on display, and if you're there and tired, stop on by 3D Systems' booth to grab a seat. Janne Kyttanen, 3DS' Creative Director, designed a 3D printed lounger that can hold a full-sized person. The lounger was made on a ProX 950, and they told members of the 3DPrint.com team that it took 5 full weeks of continuous 3D printing to complete. The lounger is metal-plated in copper, and was designed to maximize strength, minimize material usage, and provide a surprisingly comfortable seat. Among CES goers to take a seat in the lounger were illusionist David Copperfield and 3DPrint.com's own Brian and Eddie.
