Adaenelie Gonzalez had mere days left to live. The four-year-old girl had already undergone a pair of heart surgeries which taxed her strength, and doctors weren't sure they could do anything further to help. But using a 3D printed model of her heart, they mapped out a plan to correct the defect in the little girl's heart and give her a fighting chance at leading a normal life.
