One MakerBot Thingiverse creator, California-based bioengineering student and 3D fabricator Arjun Mehta, decided to forgo the mess of paper mache and instead 3D design and print a snow-covered tunnel for his family’s winter wonderland, holiday Lionel train set. He shared two versions of the tunnel design, including STL files, one featuring holes for joining the two separate pieces together and another sans the holes, requiring super glue or another strong epoxy that works with PLA or ABS filament.
