Italy-based DWS LAB introduced their XFAB Laser SLA 3D printer at last year's CES, but it was still in beta at that point. This week, DWS is present at the 2015 International CES in Las Vegas, where they will be officially launching their printer. Improvements have been made since last year's beta version, with focus on speed, resolution, cartridge, software, and materials it can print with, and the XFAB is available now for pre-order. For North American consumers, the XFAB will run at just $5,000 (+ VAT), with the first units to ship this Spring. The pricing keeps the 3D printer in the mid-range, and is marketed as a high-end machine at a consumer-level price.
