    3Doodler 2.0

Hey guys, big news today from WobbleWorks. They have officially unveiled the 3Doodler 2.0 on Kickstarter. The company is seeking $30k for this second edition of the world's first 3D printing pen. They have already surpassed this goal!

The 3Doodler 2.0 has several new key features, uses half the electricity as the original 3Doodler, is just 25% the size and 50% the weight of the first pen. Backers can pick the pen up on Kickstarter starting at $85 (today only - goes to $99 tomorrow). Further details on this latest device along with several new accessories can be found here: http://3dprint.com/35140/3doodler-2-0/

Check out a picture of the 3Doodler 2.0 below, and let us know if you have backed this project on Kickstarter:

That definitely looks more ergonomic than the original, and is probably more realistic than the LIX pen ever was...

If I hadn't already pledged for a CreoPop I'd consider this one.

Out of 194,616 total projects launched on Kickstarter, only 87 have reached the $1 million mark pledged by backers. Two of those projects came from the same company -- WobbleWorks' 3Doodler pens have made Kickstarter history as the first piece of hardware to reach $1 million twice. The new 3Doodler 2.0 reached its $30,000 goal in just 16 minutes, and only 12 days in has already exceeded the $1 million mark with over 7,400 backers -- and rising. Check out details on the new pen as well as its foray into crowdfunding history in the full article: http://3dprint.com/37843/3doodler-2-0-kickstarter/
