Eighty-year-old Jérôme Morin has been giving detailed, thoughtful gifts to his family for 25 years in numerous forms. This year though he decided he wanted to gift his grandson with a copy of his living room — in miniature. While he had basic 3D design skills, including AutoCAD, he sought extra advice from Sculpteo, where he was set up with a designer who helped him make his designs a reality through exchanging photographs and discussing ideas. After the first piece was completed with 3D printing, he kept on ordering until he had a complete miniature, 3D printed living room set to give to his grandson as a gift.
