UK government-backed investment firm Business Growth Fund has announced a £7 million investment in Hobs Reprographics for the national expansion of Hobs Studios. The Studios offer a wide range of services especially useful to engineers, architects, construction, and product designers -- including 3D printing. Hobs plans to use the investment to expand 3D printing services, which it has offered for one year. BGF and Hobs have formed a partnership that seems like a natural fit: Hobs needs investment funds for expansion, and BGF is dedicated to investing in the small and medium range UK business sector.
