Formula 1 cars are the thoroughbreds of the automotive world. Now a huge banking concern and a Spanish company have created trophies they say are worthy of such technological marvels using 3D printing. Following a competition, student designer Saúl Latorre Sebastián, from Universidad Católica de Murcia (UCAM) in Spain, created the winning trophy. Created in polyamide and resin via SLS and SLA technology, RePro3D produced the statues awarded to Formula 1 drivers in two huge races.
