Bearings bear much weight when it comes to the world of 3D printing design. Airwolf 3D announces its new multi-axis bearing featuring complex geometries unable to be manufactured using traditional methods. The key to the bearing is igus' iglide tribo-filament, available in 1.75 and 3.00 mm spool diameters, that is said to be 50 times more abrasion-resistant than other 3D printer filaments. Airwolf 3D chairman, Eric Wolf, states that this development "blows the door open on what designers can do with bearings." See more details: http://3dprint.com/29709/airwolf-3d-printed-bearings/
