Netherlands-based colorFabb produces some truly interesting filaments for use in 3D printing, including bronzeFill and, more recently introduced, copperFill. These two PLA-based materials include metal powder that allow for quite interesting textures in 3D printed objects. Netherlands-based artist, photographer, and software developer Aldo Hoeben was one of the first to order both bronzeFill and copperFill filaments. Upon receiving his copperFill filament, he thought of a unique way to showcase the product's properties: he created a dual-filament puzzle-like bust sculpture called 'Split Personality.' The piece was printed with one side in copperFill and the other in bronzeFill, highlighting both filaments' qualities. After being polished, the piece shines like a metal work of art.
