    Arduino & Sharebot's Materia 101 3D Printer

    The full details have just been released by both Sharebot and Arduino pertaining to their upcoming 3D printer called the Materia 101. The specs for this machine, which is a collaboration between the two Italian companies can be found below:

    • Printing technology: Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF)
    • Build volume: 140 x 100 x 100 mm +/- 5mm
    • X and Y resolution: 0.06 mm
    • Z resolution: 0.0025 mm
    • Filament type and size: 1.75 mmm, PLA.

    Let us know if you plan on purchasing the Materia 101. Below s a picture of the printer. Kit form printer should be priced under 600 euros, while the assembled version will be available at less than 700 euros.

    I am using OSOYOO Arduino 3D Printer Kit with Graphic Smart Display Controller for my project. It have LCD display and comes with SD card reader. It comes with smart adapter so we can easily connect with Ramps.

    it's a lot of money for what is a fairly basic printer with a pretty small build volume.
