Big Hero 6 is Disney's latest animated hit, and 3D printers are clearly among the movie's biggest fans. In the movie, Hiro Hamada uses a 3D printer to create armor for his inflatable robot friend, Baymax, inspiring makers and designers in the 3D printing community. Soon-to-launch online 3D model marketplace 3Denovo has designed a 3D printed model of Baymax where function meets form: it's a desk lamp. In the movie, Baymax's protruding belly doesn't quite fit the armor, and 3Denovo used that as the inspiration for a light bulb belly in a 3D printed armored Baymax figure. Check out the thoughts behind the process, and more about 3Denovo, in the full article: http://3dprint.com/26343/3denovo-baymax-lamp-3d-print/
