3D Printed Voxelized Statue of Roman God Janus

Miguel Chevalier is an artist well known for his digital and virtual art. However, recently he decided to use the help of a company called voxeljet to 3D print his virtual reality art in a voxelized format. The end results? A huge voxelized statue of the Roman God Janus, which weighs close to 255 pounds. It is on display as part of Chevaliers exhibition in Brazil. To create the huge print, voxeljet used their VX4000 3D printer, allowing the entire 1000 x 1000 x 820mm statue to be printed n one piece in just 40 hours.
