Emmanuel Adetutu, open source contributor and 3D printing aficionado, recently contributed a design for a foldable 3D printer to Instructables. The printer promises to be easy to transport and simple to assemble all without sacrificing print quality. The Instructables site for the machine has videos that show the machine at work and all of the supporting documentation you could need in order to build one of your own. The printer, named the TeeBotMax, can even print flexible rubber filament, offers a print area of 20cm x 20cm x 25cm and, when folded flat, has a height of only 18cm.
