    German RepRap's 3DPrintBox

    Today, German RepRap has announced a solution for those 3D printer users who seek more convenience. The new 3DPrintBox allows for remote 3D printing without a direct computer connection necessary. The device has three USB ports and an Ethernet connector, allowing any 3D printer with a USB interface to be controlled by any web-enabled device -- you can print right from your smartphone, tablet, or laptop via Ethernet or WLAN. Additionally, a webcam can be attached to the 3DPrintBox to allow for remote monitoring so you can check the progress of a print job without leaving the room.     I didn't know they open sourced or hardware-d anything. I couldn't find the files for any of their products last time I looked. It always seemed disingenuous.
