Prusa iv3 10" Expansion

Has anyone expanded on the Makerfarm Prusa iv3 10" using the 12x12" heated bed?
I was planning on buying the 10" and eventually go to the 8X12 or 12X12 heated bed.
1stage was building a 8X12 but I didn't see how that turned out.
I want to build some HO scale (1/87) Subway car bodies with this printer. They would be ~ 9" x 1.5" X 1".
Anyone out there built andthing similar with this machine and how did the parts turn out?
Was the resolution OK? Layering lines?
