have you considered the new wanhao larger volume printers ?
    http://creative3d.co.uk/blog/wanhao-...now-available/
The brand new large format Wanhao Duplicator 5 3D printer is now in stock! This machine has a build volume of 305mm L x 205mm W x 605mm H, and is priced at £1,999 (inc. VAT + FREE delivery), meaning it is one of the most cost efficient 3D printers available in terms of build volume for the money. Printers of this size would usually cost over £7000.

With this new printer comes a new MK10 extruder design (single extruder), inspired by the Bowden extruder design, meaning the lighter print head can move a lot faster without affecting stability. Because of this you will need 3mm filament, as it needs to be a bit stronger. Part of the new design is the new built in cooling fans that help prevent warping, which is a welcome change from the Duplicator 4 design. According to Wanhao the Duplicator 5 is capable of achieving an impressive 20 micron layer height when pushed to its limits.

The new machine also comes with a colour LCD display with an entirely new OS. As well as this comes a new slicing software, specifically made for the Duplicator 5, called Wanhao Maker. This is Wanhao’s equivalent of Makerware, so you can be sure it will work with this machine without any compatibility problems. You can print from an SD card or directly through USB.
We think this printer is perfect for designers and engineers who want to prototype large scale objects. But any enthusiast who wants to push FDM printing to its limits would also love it.
