    stringing problems with solidoodle 2 on open cylinder

    I am having stringing on the inside of a 1 inch dia. cylinder I am trying to print on solidoodle 2

    YOu have to use the retract settings. I use 4mm when I start getting strings.

    Thanks for responding I will try that though I'm not sure that will do it because I am getting the strings due to the extrusion not sticking to some of the layers so extruder is pulling some of the filament before it sticks again. As I am only doing a single open ended cylinder it does not appear to be a retracting problem. I have tried to put more heat to the extruder but that doesn't seem to change things either. I have checked out the video True Circle Realignment Instructions from Solidoodle on Vimeo also. Will try that as soon as I can get a 1.5 mm hex driver. I am using the Repetier-Host Solidoodle VO.85b wondering if the newer version might help. Any other suggestion is appreciated. Thanks.
