I recently bought a Da Vinci 1.0 and have printed a few fairly complex shell type parts. So far I have been fairly impressed by the printer (even though there have been a few technical issues with it), the parts seem solid, but are ~.015" out of tolerance using deposition layer thicknesses of 200 and 100 microns (the resolution and speed don't seem to make a difference, oddly enough). I knew that at $500 it was not going to be printing the +/- .005" parts we get off of the +$50k machines at work, but I was expecting slightly better from a machine advertised at a 100 micron resolution. Is anyone else seeing better resolution from the Da Vinci 1.0?
