Last month Sam's Club teamed with a small company called 3D+Me to offer an in-store booth where customers could become a 3D printed super hero in one of their newly opened stores. This month they are opening another store in Illinois, and are using the same company to allow customers to become Major League Baseball players. Customers have their faces scanned, and then a 3D printed figurine is offered to them with their name on the jersey and face on the figurine.
