The FDA is certainly seen as a hindrance, at least when it comes to healthcare. The FDA may have been put in place for good reason, but the entire process of getting approval for a product or drug can drag on for years. With 3D printing inching its way into the world of medicine, the FDA has decided to expand it's learning program to include information for their Agents about 3D printing.
