A couple weeks ago we saw the 3D printer that a few MIT students came up with in order to 3D print ice cream. It was quite amazing, to say the least, but was not yet perfected. Robots In Gastronomy, using their FoodForm 3D printer was able to get the process down to a tee. They used an Anti-Griddle to act as a build plate and freeze the ice cream as soon as it touched the plate. The results were phenomenal. The ice cream came out exactly how it was intended.
