The Electrolux Design lab has an ongoing competition to address sustainability in apparel. There have been some pretty amazing concepts submitted. These include two which are related to 3D printing. The first idea is for a 3D printing pen which spits out fabric to mend ripped clothing. The second is a way to recycle and print garments.
