    3D Printing Complex Math Equations

    Math.... What most people don't realize is that almost every equation can be graphed and many can turn out to be quite impressive looking. One Mathmatician named Felix Klein from MIT has been using 3D printing as a way to create extremely complex shapes which are formed by graphing complex math equations.     It says those lines you see on it were hand etched. What's up with that? They should have been 3D-Printed onto the surface!!!!

    Now it's going to take days for my son to 3d print his math homework...lol...

    Kidding aside, pretty cool. You could make interesting looking practical stuff from some of these. For instance, you could take the one above and fiip it around to make a modern looking table if the top was flat.

    I need to visualize what I work on. That would have helped loads in adv math... Sigh... I guess i'll have to make those for my daughter... Really no way around it.
