A Connecticut company called CCAT has secured a $163,000 part of Optomec's $4 million 'Reborn on the US' contract. CCAT will use the funds to advance their usage of alloys within the Aerospace industry. Although not a huge contract, this just shows how quickly the idea of additive manufacturing/3D printing is spreading throughout businesses small and large throughout the country.
